E + O choose they didn’t want to wedding plan for months in advance, much less a year to two years in advance. They simply wanted to get married among those that are important to them and that they love & begin on their forever… SO that’s what they did, and it so happens that their date was April 1st, aka, April fools day—the perfect day for a Surprise Wedding on April Fools!.

They made their announcement and Emily ran to change into her white beautiful flowy wedding dress to walk down the aisle while Orlando got his boutonniere put by his mom. And then it was time to finally start walking down the aisle and here is how the rest of the night went…

A Ceremony Like No Other

When the ceremony began, the officiant did something that I had never seen done before and I thought it was very special. She asked everyone for a disconnected ceremony, aka, no phones, and that was followed by all the guest closing their eyes and having a long breather together to calm all the nerves and adrenaline everyone had running through them because of the huge announcement, which everyone took by total surprise! It was a short and sweet ceremony, beautifully done. A surprise wedding on April Fools Day—what better way to kick off a lifetime of memories?

Escape to Estrella Estate

We decided it’d be a great idea to escape reception for a little bit to have some flash fun… Listen, this venue; Estrella Estate is so minimal, simple, and BEAUTIFUL. The outdoors are clean and sooo majestic, and when you add in all the twinkle lights they have, it makes it so fun and great for pictures, just see.

Being a part of their day was incredible. Everything flowed just as it was meant to. Their gallery perfectly captures the joy of the day and the success of their surprise. The vendors were amazing, too. Everyone worked together seamlessly, which made the day even better.
