Nat + Pat had the perfect vision for a dreamy and elevated intimate backyard wedding that felt chic, yet so intimate and very intentional. With the help of all of their wedding vendors, especially Kat Saenz and her team whom was their wedding planner.

In the heart of Miami, N+P invited those friends and family members closest to them. Coming from all parts of the world, from California, Connecticut, and even Colombia. The lush greenery and palm trees were the perfect addition to the backdrop. Their love has blossomed for years and they knew their biggest concern was to be able to enjoy their guests. For this reason along with other reasons, they decided to proceed with a first look.

The space was completely transformed! It was STUNNING. From the ceremony, to the cocktail space, and especially the dinner space. Their table scape is one of my favorites to date. With the perfect twinkling lights when the sunset on a beautiful full moon day. I had the pleasure of documenting this couples engagement and now wedding. It was a true honor and documenting their every precious moment was so special, every moment was heartfelt. From the getting ready to them dancing under a full moon.

How it went…

A number of things made this backyard wedding truly unique and special. The couple for starters, all of the decor, the wedding cake by Nibbles With Nat, and the trendy fruits tablescape that adorned the wedding dinner tables. SO SICK! I am living for this trend. The luscious grapes and jalapeños were such a good addition. Going hand in hand with the couples non traditional and playful spirit.

As the day unfolded, I witnessed Nat as she got ready, whom her Make Up Artists flew in from long and far… Los Angeles if we’re being specific. They exchanged personal vows followed by their first look with the sun peaking through the trees. Followed by their ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. With tears of joy coming from those who joined them, every emotion was filling the air. Such grace and authenticity, truly breathtaking. :’)

To their luck! Their wedding day occurred on a full moon, the sunset beautifully as their dinner and reception commenced. The backyard transformed into an even more so garden oasis, illuminated by the twinkling lights and warm glow of LOVE and beautiful friendship. Which then followed by dancing the night away with their loved ones. And of course, the aguardiente had to be present!

Summing up the day…

In truly every instance, the love and intimacy of this elevated intimate backyard wedding shined very bright. Truly a testament that you can elevate any space and that most importantly, the beauty that lies in the power of love.
