On March of 2024,I had the pleasure of documenting moments at a Sunken Garden Wedding in St.Petersburg. It was the perfect day, with AMAZING florida weather, which if you don’t know we don’t have many of those just perfect not too hot not too “cold” days. It was not even slightly humid: just PERFECT. Plus, this was not just any wedding. This was a true celebration of love that brought family and friends from across the globe.
Quite literally: there was guests flying in from all over the United States. From the sunny shores of California, to the busy streets of Baltimore and New York. Even from all over Europe, including Greece. This couples union is a perfect example of loving bridging cultures and distances. J+N’s priority was to enjoy their guests first and foremost who flew from all parts of the world to be there with them on their big day. Therefore, candid, authentic moments, and connections were very high on the list of priorities.
The Sunken Garden, is a stunning public garden which is open to the public but closes off in the afternoons for weddings. This is where their wedding ceremony and reception took place. It’s natural beauty and vibrant colors and flowers makes it the perfect backdrop if you’re aiming for a garden colorful wedding in Florida. Against this backdrop, their guests chatted, mingled, and exchanged their happiness for the couple.
However, the story did not begin in the garden, it began at the beautiful property of the Don Cesar, conveniently located just nearby in St.Pete Beach. The bride, her bridesmaids, and mother all got ready at this timeless and luxurious property. Which very coincidentally matched perfectly as the walls were pastel pink, and so were the bridesmaids dresses. Truly setting the stage for the rest of the day!
Through the lens of my documentary wedding photography style, every laugh, every tear, and every authentic moment has truly been immortalized. Capturing their wedding day as it occurred was truly a memory i will forever hold dear to my heart. There is nothing better than your wedding couples wholeheartedly trusting me as their wedding photographer. I captured the essence of their day, with love, class, life, and connections.
In truly every instance, the love and intimacy of this elevated intimate backyard wedding shined very bright. Truly a testament that you can elevate any space and that most importantly, the beauty that lies in the power of love.
I would love to document your wedding, whether it is in Miami, USVI, Italy, San Diego or anywhere in California, NYC, OR truly anywhere in the world! Let me help you freeze moments of your beautiful day.
