The perfect Miami Bookstore engagement session: their love told through photographs. When J+A were discussing locations… I asked what is something they hold dear to their hearts, something they bond over, something meaningful to them. We came to the agreement that a bookstore had to be apart of the way their love story is told. So! When it came time to document their love for their engagement pictures, there was no question where it would happen anymore. We know a bookstore was the perfect location.

Their shared passion for literature really shined through every shot. It felt like stills and scenes out of a movie, they felt at home. They laughed, whispered, and got comfortable in their known space. The cozy little corners, the beautiful displayed hard book covers, the tall ceilings, and the legendary library ladders. This all became their backdrop for their engagement session. Each photograph played truly into their testament of love.

They walked and curiously looked through the books, hand in hand, and separately as well. Together they turned pages of books. It was beautiful and so sweet! In the end, deciding on this location wasn’t thinking about the perfect picture, but more so what is their perfect location. And although in my opinion, we got both hehe, it was a testament to their love. This is the perfect example that being intentional with even the locations of your session, mean a whole lot. It will allow you to be more comfortable in space that you feel safe at and you feel yourself. And it’ll say a much more beautiful story.
