Enjoy this beautiful and romantic gallery as you scroll through the documentation as Melissa + Han’s get married in Miami’s Mayfair Hotel & Garden in the heart of vibrant Coconut Grove Neighborhood. The Mayfair Hotel & Garden is the perfect venue for your wedding – between all the lush and blooming greenery of Spring, their property has such a great personality. Melissa + Hans, middle school sweethearts, standing at another major point of their beautiful love story, embarking in this new chapter as Husband and Wife. Their day had a major focus on moments, versus curating perfection, documenting versus posing, and we truly were the perfect match! My style of photography and documenting fit perfectly with the approach they needed for the wedding.

The approach & turnout…

The wedding day documenting started earlier in the day than per usual. Beginning inside the luxurious and very editorial, yet edgy, and with a lot of personality… The beautiful suites of the Mayfair Hotel. Truly the perfect backdrop for the brides getting ready. She got ready with her favorites ladies. This includes her mother, younger sister, whom was also her maid of honor, and her bridesmaid. The getting ready played out very similar to the rest of the day, a lot of laughter and playful banter.

We danced on the vintage bathtubs (as she was in her beautiful and elegant lingerie from Kat The Label) that sit inside a selective few suites of the Mayfair Hotel & Garden. We cried, laughed, and lots of anticipation. When they started planning, they knew it would be in the Mayfair Hotel & Garden. As she got ready, she mentioned getting into her moms wedding dress. Which her mom stored for over 20+ years waiting to be worn! – It fit her as if it was made for her. For her wedding details, she included a poem she had got done for herself and Hans love while she was in New York. The poem was done by the very talented and artistic poet: Hannah Monsour . Whom writes her poems improved around parts of New York City.

Meanwhile, the groom: Hans, was getting ready with his best man, mother, father, and sister. They played pool, had fun, laughed, had a couple cheers, and exchanged beautiful words and meaningful gifts. As they prepped all together for the day ahead with great company. They agreed to meeting up back at The Mayfair Hotel to do a first look and follow it with couple portraits before heading to the church to do their wedding ceremony.

The ceremony & to sum it up..

The wedding ceremony at The Lady of Lourdes was a tribute to their love and faith. Tears of joy and beautiful words were shared. Following the ceremony, they decided to go to Brickell and enjoy some Gelato as newly weds. It was so fun!!! This was their perfect way of escaping society and enjoying each others presence for a bit before meeting back up for dinner with a selected few of their guests. Plus, they got to enjoy some delicious gelato!

At last, it was a gorgeous day of love, laugh, and tears. This wedding was stunning in all aspects, at the end, everything that occurred was in their favor and their day turned out perfect. Their love is a testament to young love and it was a true honor to have been the ones to document it.
