E + J decided on a dreamy, romantic New York Engagement Session in Central Park with the Canoes! The serene setting of Central Park gave them the PERFECT backdrop for their dreamy engagement session. It felt as if their engagement session was straight out of a romantic movie. We started their day at the picturesque Central Park Boat House, very reminiscent of scenes from “The Notebook”.

Dressed in connection that echoed the timeless elegance of the film, they rode their canoe across the Central Park Lake of New York City, New York. The absolute lush greenery and the skyline of New York City was their perfect backdrop. Seriously, felt like scenes out of a love story. Passing underneath the beautiful and architecture perfection Bow Bridge, I documented their beautiful and unique love story.

Following the canoe ride, E+J strolled through the many landscapes that Central Park offers. From the hidden little corners, to the world known landmarks. Every corner and frame is a photographers dream. This beautiful park, the perfect getaway from the busy streets of New York City. Truly offering so many opportunities for a documentary style approach, documenting my couple as they are.

And of course, no Central Park trip is done without having visited one of the local street food vendors. Whether that is a hot dog, or in their case, a sweet treat. E+J got a fruit ice cream bar, and of course it made it in the photographs. How fun!!
