A sailboat engagement… A DREAM!! The most perfect cinematic engagement session in Miami, Florida that has HEAVY New York City (NYC) Harbor influence. When N+P reached out and told me they were considering a sailboat session my mouth dropped. I had been thinking about doing a one and when they said that, i was SHOOK. And knew we had to make it happen. <3
We met at the Biscayne bay harbor and began right away because it was just so stunning!! As we sailed away, the wind and weather was PERFECT! It was sweater weather which in NYC is common during the winter, but in Miami, not very common. This was a great surprise, it was beautiful. So! As the captain guided the course, the gentle breeze followed, and the backdrop was stunning. The untouched side of Miami, the palm trees, and skyscrapers in the distance, they just were. They were existing, just being themselves. It was a double date! Just N+P and myself with Oscar, who if you don’t know if my business and life partner in one. <3
N+P decided to do an outfit change as it got cooler and colder. We had goosebumps and all. It was that cold, again, NYC in Miami. We sailed past the Key Biscayne lighthouse and continued past it and went into the middle of the ocean. Far away from society and land. It was absolutely SERENE. The sun set so beautifully during the ending of our session and as we sailed back to the harbor. The colors in the sky were PERFECT. I keep reusing that word, but that is exactly what this whole sailboat engagement session felt like. It was cinematic, move like, documentary, and beautiful.
